Building a Track Car – A peek at the Miata

The rear prior to painting.

Its getting close.

All the prep work completed and the front is ready.

I went out today to see just how far things have come.

Ready to shoot.

Masterblend has the car in the booth and the doors and hardtop done.

The doors look good.

The hardtop looks great.

This color really makes the top look good.

The Miata is not looking too shabby either.

A look at the rear after paint.

The paint has turned out very nice.

The front looks good, too.

It also looks like it will be a rugged finish.

I worked with Phil to assemble the doors and then get the weather-stripping re-installed in the hardtop.

I’m excited.

I hope to pick it up tomorrow and then start on the work required to complete the project.
