Senna – a film documentary you do not want to miss

Senna is arguably the greatest Formula One driver ever and he achieved that status in one of the sweet spots in F1 racing.  Now has come an excellent documentary of his racing life that you will not want to miss.

    The two others I compare to Senna are Moss from the mid-’50s to early ’60s and Jackie Stewart. Senna’s comment about “if you don’t go for the gap you are not a racing driver” is similar to one Moss made, about not driving as fast as possible all the time. It went something like: “If you drive at 8/10ths or 9/10ths you can have a great career and even win some races, but you are no racing driver.”

    Now I just have to find a place to see it.

    I was just on the phone bugging my local “art house” movie theatre about it.

    There is a documentary “A Gullwing at Twilight” that you would enjoy seeing. It is about John Fitch – another great racing driver of the 50’s and 60’s.
